Congrats! They usually figure out the flipping. Sometimes the naval is a little open. Just leave it in the incubator longer and make sure it's not catching on anything and bleeding.
Yes it was for a few days. I'm in VA and as usual insane weather. It was 85 over the weekend and now 50's. If I let run almost dry it drops fast but even a few drops takes it back to the 50s. I prefer to stay in the 40s. I'll have to be careful this go around.
Ok so after two great hatches I reloaded it but I cannot get the humidity to drop! I let it run, it's on basically no water and instructions say not to run it dry? I'm assuming because we had some heat but it's cool now and still at 60. I even had a fan going. Vent is all the way open. Ideas?
Blues can come in a lot of shades from really dark to light. They change a lot as they grow. I'm not familiar with splash but looks like a beautiful bunch to me!
Awesome!! I was off a day on my staggered eggs, it was just 3 I sold 2 on day 14 to go under a broody. Those 2 hatched and 2 of mine hatched today and last is pipped. Can't wait to see your fluff balls!
Just had 100% hatch in the NR360! Lots of cuties. And I even incubated some in my home-made incubator but added them the NR for lockdown. They were a day behind so still waiting on 3 of those. 22 chicks so far.
Exciting! Pulling for them. I went into lockdown today. Mine are looking fantastic and I'm still in love with this incubator. I had my cooler-bator I made going too and so I put several of those in the NR360 for lockdown. I have a few others that seemed a day or 2 behind so left them in the...
Cool videos! I'm not sure about the temps but whatever mine is doing is working. I set eggs in my still air and the NR360 on the same day and they look like they are 2 days ahead in growth. Hope you get lots to hatch!
It's possible, got her from a feed-store she was actually a free replacement for a Lavender I lost and she's my favorite hen. They are cross chicks anyway so no biggie!
Oh geeze well glad you got one that works! I didn't bother using my hydrometer in the 3.0 I just went with it and 19/20 made...
Wow what an ordeal!! Glad you got those precious eggs in the incubator on time. How are they doing? I have the 3.0 and it's barely noisy, we had it in the bedroom and we could sleep fine. I think you will be happy, I really am. As for my chicks I thought my hen may be an Ameraucana because she...
