    Ah, glad the duck was asleep when plucked. Not sure they would have closed it. I would think it's as deep as you can see, in good light, after they cleaned it out. Time will tell. Are the 2 vetted ducks doing better as far as movement and eating/drinking? Best of luck...thanks for your...

    Wonders how deep that wound is, can't really tell in pic? Certainly doesn't look infected, skin doesn't look inflamed. Wonders how they got all the feathers gone?

    That was my thought, thanks. I don't even like giving more than one 'treatment' at a time, otherwise you don't know which one worked....tho this situation may be different.

    Good they are dunking their heads, shows good activity levels.... ....I think, I don't know ducks. Maybe dab/blot it a bit while it's wet.

    Makes sense really, wouldn't want wounds reopened in potentially 'dirty' water. Best of Duck Luck!
