Thank you, but I tried that as well. I tried doing it very carefully, but it kept shaking his head when the toothpick came near. I also made the toothpick a little softer by putting it in water, so it couldnt get hurt by it, but it didnt help.
Yes, he has always had water to do that, but he never washed his nares before i put him in a bath. And yes, I can see food inside of his nostrils from the outside

I called a couple vets today, to see if any of them also take ducks. Unfortunately none of them did. I have found another veg though, which I think take ducks. I will try to take it tomorrow. The open mouth breathing is less today, and no liquid seems to be coming from his nose. He does...
Ok thanks you. Right now it seems like he has water in his nose, and he keeps trying to shake it out from his nose. When shaking his head water also comes out. What can i do now?
