The Marans hen with your Aneraucana roo should produce an Olive Egger, if he is carrying the blue egg gene. The roo over the Rhode Island hens would produce Easter Eggers.- Cotton42

I bought him as a straight run blue Marans chick along with one other from a women in Missouri, hoping for egg layers. Both turned out to be boys. But that's ok, now I can try for my own OE's instead and I love his coloring even though it's not a recognized color for Marans. Didn't see the egg...- Cotton42
