    I read somewhere that breeding frizzle to frizzle will cause brittle feathers. So it would have to be frizzle bred to solid feather to make non brittle feathered frizzles. Sizzle is frizzle bred to silkie, pretty much same process, but with silkie feathers instead of solid.

    Yep. I meant to grab an egg from my Buff Orpington/Australorp cross hen, but grabbed one from my RIR hen accidentally. She was the result of that accident.

    Okay. Bantam silkie is on the far left.I have a couple of bantam silkie cockerels that are the same size as that girl, so it didn't matter who I used. They're 13 - 14 weeks old in these pictures.
