The dad has the big genes. He's a little bigger then a 5 gallon bucket. I haven't compared her to the bucket yet.

So...I somehow managed to hatch a bowl of cornflakes

The seven in the bowl were the first to hatch, the two below took longer!

Now to decide which to keep as growouts...

I know the pain of grow outs! I have a ton right now, but I’m going to wait a little longer till I decide which ones are keepers!​

It is such a hard choice!

In my last hatch I picked my growouts at 3 weeks and I chose pretty well. However, this time I have a buyer (that came to buy a pullet from my last hatch) who saw them this morning and he wants quite a few of them.

I don't sell my chicks as day olds, I always keep them for 1 week to ensure they're eating, drinking and growing well so he's coming back for them next Sunday.

I have to decide before then!

I think there is two I like most but I'll have to have another good look at them. Plus I'll get more photos!
