Silkie Lovers, Show Off Your Fuzzy Chickens Here?!

It is such a hard choice!

In my last hatch I picked my growouts at 3 weeks and I chose pretty well. However, this time I have a buyer (that came to buy a pullet from my last hatch) who saw them this morning and he wants quite a few of them.

I don't sell my chicks as day olds, I always keep them for 1 week to ensure they're eating, drinking and growing well so he's coming back for them next Sunday.

I have to decide before then!

I think there is two I like most but I'll have to have another good look at them. Plus I'll get more photos!

Yes! Most of mine are around 3 months old now. I’m still iffy on the gender of a few which is making me wait a little longer.

I love the color of one pullet I have, but her crest and beard are lacking so I’m having such a difficult time deciding with her!

Bantam silkie is on the far left.

I have a couple of bantam silkie cockerels that are the same size as that girl, so it didn't matter who I used.
They're 13 - 14 weeks old in these pictures.

First generation doesn't normally show it. Needs a sibling breeding, then needs to be bred back to a partridge, then too a splash.
Complicated stuff.

Sounds like yours is a first generation breeding then.

They have the silver gene, so the blue silkie must have had it.

Wanted to show off my eye catching little man who I believe is a sizzle? He’s a silkie cross with frizzled feathers and the most adorable personality! Was wondering if anyone knew his colouring as well ?? He’s got a wild mix of stuff and the ends of his wing feathers looks speckled and barred ??
