I usually don't, although some people use a technique called 'capping' in this situation. That's where you crack open an infertile egg and place the end of the shell over the hole to cover it.
I'm on :) Looks good so far, doesn't look like it had internally pipped yet so there is probably still a ways to go.
ETA: I see you said it did just internally pip, I didn't see that in the picture. So, there could be up to two days left while it absorbs everything.
