    I should have known better but I was in a rush. I had the breeders eggs in the incubator and only 1 hatched perfectly. The 2nd I didn't think would live as he had a huge amount of yolks unabsorbed. I've learned from it for sure.

    I got crappy ones from Ideal. I only kept 3 hens and upon close inspection the one is missing toes, and the lavender had huge pigment holes on her feet. All 3 aren't the best looking birds or a good representation of the breed. My others are the offspring from breeders who show. Shipped eggs...

    Here are some of mine. Finding decent quality birds was a struggle when I started out. I do not like the small mohawk crests. But I do have a few in my flock until spring.
