If you're referring to Arnold, yes! His mom is a Golden Laced Wyandotte, which is what he mostly took after. His dad is an Olive Egger mix, so he shares a little bit in common with him. Namely the beard/muffs. They sound almost identical!
This is my boy Arnold. He is the son of my first roo Roger, who is still the leader of the whole flock. He's a very good boy like his dad, but he's more nervous and afraid of me than Roger is. He's a Wyandotte mix, and his colors are pretty amazing in overcast lighting! He's about 5-6 months...
This beauty was hatched from my girls eggs about 5-6 months ago. I have 5 Blue Laced Gold Wyandottes so I don't know which one is her mom, nor do I know who her dad was. I had two roos at the time that were both Olive Egger mixes. Her feathers are much redder than any of the others, and her...
Here's my mama hen Trina with her hatched chicks. They aren't her babies, but she's raising them and doing a fine job at that! They're 6 weeks old now and she's still sleeping in the nesting box with them 😄
My wyandotte hen Blue is raising a couple chicks, and this one popped its head out to say hello 🥰 she brought them down from the nest to eat and drink for the first time in two days, and now she's just resting in place lol.
Yeah, she really does! She's the only one with white and black feathers. I have another who is gray, with some white and black, but it's not the same. She's a special one 🥰
Snuggle time before bed. From left to right; Mina my BLG Wyandotte, Roger my mixed Roo, Beatrice my white Easter Egger, and Teddy my spicy Easter Egger.
I am out with the chickies now having a blast with these pictures 😆
On the stump is (left to right) Bubbles, Blossom, and Pearl. In the back, you can see Pocahontas jumping for leaves lol.
Got some pics of my boy Roger today, free ranging with his ladies. They love scratching under the almond tree! I noticed he ate some of the flower petals on the ground, as well.
His feathers are a little rough but he is a beautiful boy 🤩
He's a 1.5 year old Ameraucana mix.
