    Honestly, I was willing to pay whatever it took to save her. I still have no idea what she got caught on. The vet said she had never heard of a rooster mating and causing so much damage. She thought a hawk tried to grab her, but there is no way one could have gotten into the run/coop.

    The funny part is that she cost $45 and was a last minute add on to my chick order. Too expensive to be a mutt, so I am going to agree on the designer chicken label! She is now a $100 chicken after her trip to vet to get stitched up.
