There is a gestation period for the virus. Odds are he already had it on board before he got the vaccine.

It takes a while for the "jabs" to become effective, to provide protection. They're neither magical nor instantaneous. Usually take a couple weeks to provide protection, I believe.

Sorry, I do not know the answer to any of these questions. I got Covid right after Christmas 2020 and went to the ER twice with it and spent at least one night in the hospital. I had the GI version. This was before the vaccine was available, or at least I had not received it yet. Oh, the latest...

It certainly has not vanished. Eight people I know well have had it in the last month or currently have it. It's still one of the top five causes of death in the U.S.
