Exactly right. Also why they'll probably never ban menthol cigarettes.
Alcohol abusers are much more prone to coronavirus because alcohol depletes the lungs' primary antioxidant that protects against viral infection. Seems counter-intuitive, but alcohol abuse causes a condition called...

I think it depends on what you vape. Most cases of vaping illness have been in THC vapers, about 80% I think. The remainder must be getting products contaminated with something. Vaping quality regulation is non-existent in the US.

Calcium channel blockers (CCB) control hypertension, too, and don't have the same effect on ACE2 that ACE inhibitors have. CCBs are the primary hypertension treatment in east Asian countries. If I was taking an ACE inhibitor, I'd tell my doc to put me on a CCB just to be on the safe side.

Do you know if the co-worker takes an ACE inhibitor? I read a comment from someone who thought it peculiar that the side effects of ACE inhibitors and symptoms of CV are very similar; loss of taste is one of them.
Vaccines and natural immunity concern a different part of the immune system. Things like vitamins C & D are part of the innate immune system (non-specific). Antibodies are part of the adaptive immune system (pathogen specific). Both work together.
