I can’t crack it as it’ll let out too much humidity. I did and have always had a quarter size hole above the light. It’s so hard to get it all right and then egg position... I’m not sure if they’re all equally temperature stable. I know of if goes up and down a little bit in temp it averages...

I just added more warm water and some sponges to raise humidity and it’s reading 65 but now the temperature has also gone up to 102 and 103. I put the thermometer closer to the bulb to get the warmest read and eggs are usually a degree or two cooler as they are a couple inches further. How can...
