The niacin requirement for a Pekin is around 70mg/kg, all the way up until there ten weeks then it drops down to 55mg/kg. All Flock Feed contains 55mg/kg, so that said, if he's above ten weeks he shouldn't need supplementation, but occasionally sprinkling some nutritional yeast...
Well, from what I could find, most livestock yeasts available tend to be low in niacin. If you're looking for a preventative niacin supplement, any nutritional yeast brand, or B3 powder/liquid would suffice.
B3 powder will be more cost-effective, as its more potent, and requires little amounts.
That's fine. I do see some that are only at 35/kg, but some do range very high, it seems to depend on the Brand and whatever species it's intended for.

Yes, Livestock Yeast generally contains less niacin than other brands. I believe livestock yeast is something like 2mg per coop, other humans brands 5mg per scoop.
So per the company’s website, each scoop contains around 2mg, now they recommend giving birds a half a scoop, so the niacin content would be 1mg per scoop. Which is not much at all.
