Nutritional Yeast vs Brewer's Yeast

I had tried researching the Niacin content with no luck as well. That’s the feed they recommended at the feed store that I purchased the ducklings from. I have a white layer, blue Swedish, and a magpie , all are just a couple weeks old

Game bird does not have enough niacin. I strongly recommend you supplement with niacin. Brewer yeast and niacin tablets can easily be found at the grocery or drug store. You can also try frozen peas but my ducks never liked the peas.

Not true, some Gamebird feed brands range up to 125ppm 125/kg. That's more than twice as much niacin then ducks feed.

It can be bought online, and some grocery stores may have it.

Ok the gamebird feed in my local area do not have enough niacin. I apologized for a broad sweeping statement.

That's fine. I do see some that are only at 35/kg, but some do range very high, it seems to depend on the Brand and whatever species it's intended for.

After more digging, I found that the feed I have is Atwood’s store brand. I think it’s safe to say that it needs supplementing so I ordered some Niacin and Brewers Yeast from Amazon

Thank you Issac for all the great info! I really appreciate all your research and help. I never thought these ducks would require so much care. But I love them

I would also like to know the brand of the yeast made especially for poultry please.
