Duckling Food and Niacin

The gamebird/showbird says it is a feed for starter fowl including ducks.

Yes it does.
It also says on to switch to Layena at 18 - 20 weeks of age.

Because they want you to buy a different feed. ;) It also states after a certain time, you can put older birds back on it.
During the time where you should cut protein for ducks, I just cut the feed with corn (as that is what I had on hand). I used metzer's feed chart calculator to do so. Plus added supplemental niacin just in case.

That is the feed the OP has. I agree. Although, I didn't find the amount of niacin listed. The OP coukd contact the company - if they are anything like Purina they will get back to them.
Since it's labeled for starting gamebirds and turkeys, and some gamebirds require 70 ppm niacin, I would think that it's pretty close to 70 ppm. :D

I just want to thank everyone for their input on this topic. I will contact the company to find out how much niacin they do or don't have inside their feed formula as that info would be good to have on this forum incase someone else asks in the future.
Either way Manna Pro should consider adding that info on the bag, if it is in there.

Let us know what they say, that would be great info to have!
