Thank you for this! I was wondering if I'd need info on that! He's doing way better but I'm still watching. He broke out off the porch and has been out with his girls (and 2 ducks) for about 1.5-2 hrs. Been scratching and walking. Finished his food and drank a whole bowl of water. But his comb...
I'll definitely keep that! Thank you. Right now I just caught him picking at the pumpkin a little so I made him scrambled egg and gonna see if he will pick at it some once it cools.
If anyone has any ideas on what I can do to try to get him to eat I'd appreciate it! I've even tried his absolute most favorite which is corn on the cob and he wants nothing to do with it. I'm going to try some more eggs and stuff in a little bit but any ideas on other things would be good too
Yesterday he was slow. But nothing like today. The first post has a video and pic of how I found him when I opened coop this morning. His crop feels normal. Not squishy. Not hard. It's empty tho. He won't eat. Only drink a little when I touch it to his beak.
Here's another video of how he's acting now. Please excuse the sound in the background. I have a gated porch with a tin roof and it's raining. That's where I have him now.
Hes not too bad to handle. But now I'm a little concerned. He's got a runny nose. He just drank some water with electrolytes and vitamins e & b and seems like he's spitting up a little. His comb is getting dark. He's still walking and actually gets himself a little worked up when I come up to...
He's 7.5 months. He's a little unsteady if he walks but mostly just stands still with his neck bent that weird angle down. He hasn't had his wings down since I posted that this morning. I think it was bc it was before i moved him to the tote I have him in now and he was trying to get a place to...
Thanks for the reply. I've been looking and searching all morning. I've done a few of the things listed for wry neck and my husband is getting the things we found high in vitamins e and selenium. I'm hoping this is all that's wrong. He stands for a little bit with his head down and sleeping then...
My rooster was slow yesterday. Not acting normal at all. He wasn't running around chasing everybody and didn't mount one girl at all. He ate in the morning but when I was tossing some scraps last night he didn't come running. Then he went into the coop and roosted almost 2 hrs before normal...
