I grow spearmint and lemon balm, but not peppermint. I hang lemon balm in the chicken coop to keep flies away.

I’ve always wanted to grow peppermint.

I’ve found that lavender oil works wonders on mosquito bites.

I love using oils! peppermint oil is one of my favorites.

I grew tomatoes, cucumbers, blackberries, potatoes, asparagus and a bunch of herbs.

That‘s ok, I didn’t grow as much as usual this year either.

I hope to plant some lettuce as well.

I lost this thread for a while, I hope there will be plenty of new herbs and plants to forage this spring!

I agree, I like to grow my own herbs as well, but it’s too late to plant this year. I will next year, but I might buy some in the meantime. I did dry some mint, thyme, rosemary, and oregano from my garden. I think I’ll dry the sage tomorrow. That looks delicious!😍 I’ll have to try that sometime!
