That's a pullet IMO.. and no they don't mature faster when "born" later.. maybe the opposite even.. If it were a cockerel and I don't think so.. it's a VERY slow maturing late bloomer. EXCEPT.. maturity and laying are not the same thing.. Regardless of light.. a bird will mature at it's OWN...- EggSighted4Life
