It was a little dry because it sat out for several days, but had a LOT of icing on it, especially over the butt portion! The tail is pure buttercream. If I do it again, we will probably eat it right away next time. No regrets on the amount of icing though!

Jared, No, don’t worry if it doesn’t look quite the way you pictured. We’d love to see it anyway! The joy of this contest is 1) to have fun 2) to fantasize about eating all kinds of things I shouldn’t eat. :drool ....

A Valais Blacknose Lamb- based on the vintage lamb cakes my mom used to make every Easter. I used chocolate cake with white buttercream, Wilton candy flowers, painted with food coloring, a crown of rosemary, and a Cadbury creme egg. There are key lime M & M's in the jar.
