    A good point that I missed. I was thinking about coop size for ventilation but an 8x8 run is too small for 10 hens. They need 100 square feet as a minimum and 8x8 is only 64 square feet.

    Plastic sheds are notoriously difficult to adequately vent -- 1 square foot per adult, standard-sized hen.
