Well we wanted to start homesteading so we started out with 30 egg layers, due to some shipping issues they sent us 39.....then tractor supply had bantams....I bought all 5 that were left....then they had silkies and I bought 4......then I order some straight run bantams.....then found some...

I've been giving some to a neighbor down the road because my bantam flock is alot bigger than I anticipated lol. I have alot of female pairs so I'm breaking those up slowly.

I mean we only have 80 chickens and 2 geese🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤭

A month ago I said no more chicks.....aaaaaand here we are! Lol

My new chick's came today!! 4 assorted silkies and 4 assorted cochin bantams. This little guy/girl is quite a bit lighter than the other patridge I've identified. Do they vary that much in shade?
