Mine are in a brooder cage but outside on the porch.They only use the light at night.

My two week old babies are outside on my porch with 2 250 watt lights on one end.They stayed out there with temps in the 20's a couple of nights but I just put a blanket around the cage and it was nice and warm inside.They just need protection.
