The Quack

Downey is definitely my sweet little drake. The calls are only 5 weeks, but I may indeed have the odd duck (appropriate, it's one of my nicknames :lol:) because lately when they quack it sounds like a car alarm. I'll try to grab a video later!

Also, if they're all drakes, I'm going to be so sad. Downey deserves a mate, and if I have 3 drakes I can't exactly trade them in and try again next year and buy more.

These are my first calls, is there a definitive voice difference?

He just turned 2 years old. His mate died about year ago, and he never mated with our rescue wood duck female before she flew off to live outside on our lake, so he's been without his favorite pastime for about a year. Poor guy. Lol
