It's mostly in the morning and at night. Morning as soon as they leave the coop he wants to mate them but sometimes they dont. And at nights in the normal pecking at there feet because there in his spot. They all roost in the same exact spot lol.

I put her back out bc it was warmer but today it's raining so idk how shell do. She has no feathers under her wings. And my BO keeps packing her in the bald areas so can I get her a chicken saddle? To cover up with maybe itll keep her warm as well.

Gave her some cantaloupe this morning checked her crop. I can feel a peice of cantaloupe in her crop just one. Like her crop is empty until u hit the little piece of cantaloupe. Is that good or bad? Shes been eating but why isnt her crop getting full? Still not drinking. She keeps stretching her...

She's nice and warm up. Wha kin of high-value treats? we caught her eating a little bit but water is still an issue with her. She seems to be just sitting on the floor of the cage. Were still on and off trying to figure out if we should take her to the vet or wait and see if shell start drinking.

Update: she reached for the water on one of the nipple waters that I think they barely use but she barely got anything bc she didnt press hard enough but she I'm hoping will start to drink water. Shell eat out of my hand or if i put it near her other than that she doesn't go anywhere near rooster.

A little update: she bump under her butt has gone down a little but idk if that's good or bad (loosing weight). Shes still barely eating and drinking.

But usually when shes molting she eats and drinks. She eats sometimes but isnt drinking. Like she eat out of my hand but when I come home shes perched up on the perch in the run to get away from everyone. Or shell stand in a corner.

Update: we gave her an internal exam. We couldnt find an egg but in was milky when we took our hand out idk if that's normal. I feel like shes loosing weight either that or shes molting bc shes loosing lots of feathers now.

someone said latex glove and some other stuff to slide your hand in. I forgot lol. How should I hold her because it's gonna be me and someone else helping?

Update: her crop is I would say empty. Its soft and squishy. Everyone else is full. Her under butt is still big but the outside idk if shes losing weight or not. I still have to do an internal check but dont have everything for it.

Is it near the crop? I feel like I felt it but I always can feel the bone on everyone but theres always some meat there. Is it a good idea to take her to the vet?

I'm still trying to figure out how to get her to drink. The eye dropper method isnt working and dipping her beak into the water isnt working. And I tried putting the rooster into the cage but he saw it coming. The flock is going to bed rn so maybe tomrrow I'll try again.
