@Wyorp Rock - thank you. I checked her vent/back end and don’t feel anything. I checked her feathers and there are still some pin feathers that have yet to “blossom” so moly may still be hurting. She ate some tuna and treats this am. I gave her some more NutriDrench and water. Will get Corid...
You are right - it was Mareks. Ugh - so many things! I see I can get corrid at my Tractor Supply. Think it’s okay to treat for worms and coccidosis at the same time? If not, why would you treat for first?
I will see if I can get corrid. I do have a goat wormer and will look into dosing. Her poop is green/milky which indicates to me malnutrition. I do not see mites on her or her mates. She has not laid in many, many months - thought was a reproductive issue so just let it be. I had my chickens...
Thank you. She stopped lying in March - so bizarre as only a year old at the time but figured it was a reproductive issue. That said she seemed healthy so I just let her be and she seemed fine within the group ove the summer. So definitely not egg bound. All are almost done with their molt and I...
Made her eggs - didn’t touch. I gave her some yogurt and some treats (mealworms and some nugget thingys) which she will kind of eat but not with vigor. I gave her some cat food which she again sort of ate. She’s not going to make it and I just wonder how long I do this for. I feel so bad.
Yes - she’s mostly done with her molt. I gave her some wet cat food and she had a bit but it’s not going to be enough to sustain her for long. My friend said I should give her a week and if no improvement then I should put her down. I’m heartbroken. I’ve been able to get through other things in...
Yes - she is second to the bottom. She’s 1.5 years old - seems odd tris would be affecting her now. She’s inside and not eating. I think I’m just going to have nature take its course with this … 😞
Yes. I just uploaded another poop. This is so frustrating. I’ve searched - what I feel is - everything and there’s just nothing I’m coming up with. The rest of the flock is perfectly fine.
Most hens in my flock are molting but one is definitely not well. She secluded herself from the group. Her tail is down, her comb and wattles are pale. Her crop is not full at the end of the night so I’m guessing she’s not eating. I’ve checked for mites - not seeing any. Her pop is white-ish...
