It came out of a bantam Cochin egg and has either a Golden Sebright roo or an Easter egger roo. Time will tell!! We weren't planning on keeping any of this test batch but kiddo feel in love with the mini chick so we kept three. It will be fun to see as it grows up if we can figure out the father.

I can't math. We had 13 hatch out of the 15 that made it to lock down. Was sitting here trying to figure out where the 2 chicks were as my math wasn't working looking at them in the tub 🤣

2nd chick out. Soccer is going steady so hopefully they settle down in the dark and let their brethren work on coming out. Possibly two more thinking about zipping soon.

I'd like to join please! I set 22 chicken eggs yesterday though so they can hatch while the kids are still here since they will be away for Easter.

Is it okay to start eggs a couple days early and still join?? Kiddos are gone Easter weekend so I'm planning to set tomorrow for our first try at incubating 🤩
