    Black spots on comb, or brown and scab like, could be fowl pox - I'm dealing with that right now in my own flock. The dry version is generally, well, not benign, but at least low danger long term. Even a photo would help identify that, no video required.

    Please update this thread. Shell-less eggs are more common in young birds who just began to lay, less common as they age. Dietary imbalances (feeding chickens I do know a few things about) tend to affect the while flock to greater or lesser degree. Now, there are some dietary treatments...

    Sounds like a disease to me, and with that, I'm bowing out. What I don't know about poultry injuries and illness would fill books. AND DOES. I've nothing useful to offer, sorry.
