two of my babies have arrived!

it’s doing great! i’ve only had 1 egg as a dud- and not sure if that’s the incubators fault at all. ya know. 10/10 recommend!

hard to see from the photo- but we’ve got some pips and chirps!! so excited. hoping we’ll have some emerging in a couple hours.

aw no! so sorry to hear this. hope those cracked ones keep holding on. I had a cracked egg make it to hatch before- so I have hope for you!

candled my eggs tonight with great news! 5/6 silkie eggs showing development. on day 7 now. some are already moving!! sadly, only one blue egg is developing.

update: 4/6 silkie eggs showing life! 2/4 easter eggers showing life! this is so exciting.

this is what my eggs look like! does this count as life?!? maybe mine aren’t all bad. I thought it looked sort of normal to me.

Ugh! Candled my eggs last night. only one had veins. don’t know if it’s me or the incubator. my temp and humidity is reading fine! i’m going to leave them all for now and hope they start developing. (ps- everyone asking, I didn’t intend this to be the august thread but hey let’s do it! more...

I am setting my 6 silkie eggs today! I’ve done previous hatches in my old incubator, but never was very successful. crossing my fingers hard for these silkie eggs to add to my breeding pen.

I ordered my new incubator off amazon. nothing too special- but my other incubator is a DINOSAUR. I ordered the magic fly mini incubator for 9 eggs!
