Ah! I didn't know that. Well, all the basil has been dried and crushed and mixed together. I use it in homemade spaghetti sauce. Hope it'll taste ok. The majority of it is the Opal and Genovese varieties.
I planted 3 different basils: Opal (purple), Genovese, and Thai. Well, I planted Italian Basil too, but it didn't come up.
I have to say, the Opal and Genovese were easier to dry, as they had bigger leaves. I'm going to plant about twice as much next year.
I still need to gather oregano...
Lovely! My DH loves habaneros. He calls them, "hubbyneros." I can't handle that kind of heat, I'm a wimp.
