    Snowbird dictates (as he can't write): The 5 pullets are in with us all now. I know they are still too young for my "attentions," but it won't be long now. They are used to being around us. Some of the ladies still peck them and make them run away. I do not intervene, as they must learn their place.

    I am Sunny. My hooman is holding a book on philosophy for me to read while I sit on her lap. I am looking forward to sitting on her lap in the winter. Her lap will warm my toes. I am told winter is very cold. I have never experienced winter. I hope she will still want to sit out here with us...
