You can do it nelgkel! Try some designs and show us how they turn out. The hardest part for me is blowing the eggs out....it's pretty messy and time-consuming. I have a stash of tiny pullet eggs I've been putting off a few weeks...I need to get them blown out soon but I just don't have the time... -

To everyone who is using syringes to blow their eggs out... ...do you have problems with them exploding? The syringe method is a lot easier than blowing them out by mouth, but I had several eggs blow under the pressure from the syringe. Do I just need to go slower? Any tips? Also, I kinda had a... -

Cool! I've used syringes and needles before when I worked in the lab, just wasn't sure how easy it was to get them thru the shell. Thanks for the info and for answering my Q's...I'll have to look into getting that stuff now...I'm tired of drilling holes and blowing by mouth. Hopefully you can... -

smfamf - so you use a syringe with a needle to poke thru and blow out the eggs? Wow...that sounds A LOT easier than the method I'm using.... So when you poke thru the shell with the needle, does it go thru clean without cracking the shell around the hole? Do you have to do it really fast? Do you... -

Yup.... I'm into art - I've always been drawing, and I took some drawing and painting classes in college. I have chickens...I'm getting more eggs than I know what to do with.....it's getting closer to the holidays...I need to keep up with my art skills.......SO.......might as well make egg art... -

Ooooh! Great thread! Awesome eggs and good ideas everyone. I've already started painting some of my eggs.....it's fun, but a little more time-consuming than I thought. I guess using rub-ons would make things quicker...oh well. I have a sheet of rub-ons so we'll see how that works out...
