Allot of people glue their stickers on to make sure the edges stay down. I use class a peels only because they stick really well but so many places don't use them. I would use light coats and put a few on the egg myself.
LOL I know exactly what those egg decorting dreams are like. When I need to make an egg for someone or I have part of an idea for an egg I will think about it constantly until one night it comes to me while I am dreaming. That is how I think of all my designs!!!! I think you are doing a great...
That turned out really cute. I'm thinking of making more of these and putting them on my downstairs tree this year just putting them all over the tree.

This is where there is a video of how to blow out eggs using a water pick.
Oh I forgot you asked how to put the hole in the egg. I use a dremel with a small drill bit on mine. I don't do two holes, I only put one hole in the bottom of my eggs and clean them from just one hole. Most eggs you buy online will only have one hole in them. I blow mine out with the compressor...
Chillin with my Peeps that chick is beautiful. I love those feathers. You did such a nice job on it.
Cornfed, I don't heat my eggs, I just let them dry out naturally. If you put them on a paper towel with the hole down they dry by morning. I've never dried my eggs in the oven. I think it dries...
what a great way to raise money. I'm sure yours will go fast. These are just beautiful. You did such a nice job on them. And those feathers are absolutely beautiful. you could make a set of 4 ornaments, that way you have more to raffle off!!! LOL
I love her. She's so cute. Seal the seeds though. If not they then rot, or they can have bug eggs in them. So just throw on some finish on them. Aren't they fun to make and so easy.

Oh I wanted to tell you. The hole in the bottom of your egg, that is if you blew them out by putting two holes, get gold or silver thumbtacks and glue them over the holes that way it doesn't show.
They look pretty and weigh the egg down so it hangs straight.
Oh your right. I never thought of that. I am going to go around the corner and see if those people have green eggs from their chickens. I have only brown ones and I wanted to make more of these. I know people will buy them.
Oh my did those ever come put pretty. I love the ones with the black stickers on them. Love them!!!! I have to run to walmart now!!!!!!!! LOL Oh boy more money for eggs!!!!!!!! Here is the egg I was telling you about earlier. I went to the Ohio Egg Show in Sept. People from all over the world...

Well everyone starts somewhere and the more you do the better you get. They sound wonderful. I think they will go really well. Here is a place you can look around for supplies, it's a really nice site and there might be something you can use.

Keep moving the egg up side down and then right side up that evens out the drips too. I don't leave my eggs on the doll rods, I took a large meat tray, one of those styrofoam ones and I poke nails through it and I set my egg on that, you never see the little dips from the nails and if you do you...
Here is a bird I made a few years ago. I sold them at easter, I made them in a bunch of colors and sold them for 10 dollars. They had hangers on them but this one the hanger fell off, it's been moved around so much and now it just lays in my cabinet.
This one is one of the crummy ones I made...
Chicken eggs are very brittle, I don't cut them because of that. When I started out doing eggs all I did was cut the egg in half and make a jewelry box. I can put pictures of jewelry boxes up. But I did use a dremel for that, and I used a very thin disk on the dremel. I never ever use hot glue...
You can get it at any of the craft stores. It should be with the paints. Probably on the bottom shelf. It's in a wide mouth jar. Called Triple Thick by decoArt. It's a great product but sloppy to work with. You can also dip your eggs. I don't have any luck doing it but allot of eggers use this...
Chicken Obsessed. All the little bottles of paint are good for your eggs, it depends on teh finish you use on them to the depth of color you have. Mod Podge is a good finish but it really never hardens enough. It will get softer with time. Use triple thick on your eggs. It's a very very thick...
