    If you put squares of cardboard or plywood maybe 16x16 under the feed and water it really cuts down on the pine shavings in the food and water.

    Do you have a thermometer? Put one or two or even three around the brooder. It sure sounds to me like you’re roasting those poor things but what do I know.
