This is what it's looking like. Still crazy. Not completely looking like frizzle, but still not normal! So idk what's happening. But still a pretty chicken!
Lol I thought so, too! But I definitely want other people's opinions. Especially because I've never had a frizzle, so I don't know exactly what to look for.
That'll be cute! She's the only buff cochin bantam I have. The rest are Mille fleur d'uccle or 3 partridge cochin bantams. So she'll (or he) will definitely stand out@
Oh my!! They're gorgeous. I am so jealous. Lol I've wanted a frizzle, so badly but I haven't had luck finding any! Other than this one, which I can't tell if it is a frizzle! And thank you!! She will be beautiful no matter what but I'd definitely be excited if she turns out to be frizzle after all.
What a sweet looking baby! Yeah, I've never had a frizzle before so I have no idea and that's why I posted the updated pictures to see what I have going on. It's 3 weeks old today. I've gotten mixed responses, so it confuses me even more. 😆
Lol thank you! I just have to keep watching and see how these feathers end up going because they definitely haven't tamed down or gotten anymore "normal" looking.
I get the Partridge. It's just got something odd going on with its feathers and wings. They're both kind of split. Lol but the Buff looked like a frizzle to me and I got excited.
You really think so? I did too! But someone else said it's just in a weird feather phase. Lol but it definitely looks different than my other chickens.
I got a bunch of bantam chicks! Most are Mille Fleur D'uccle and a few are Partridge Cochin Bantams. These 2 chicks stand out in the bunch. If I could get some help identifying these babies, I'd appreciate it. Is my yellow chick a Golden Neck D'uccle? White Cochin Bantam and is it a frizzle...
