i talked to the vet and it seems the chick has pneumonia. she has started her on some antibiotics and some anti-fungal meds. she is tube feeding her and wants to keep her for a few more days. she said she is improving and the clinic has named her "peepers" due to her loud and HEALTHY peeps. so...

the vet should be contacting me today about the chick. hopefully it is good news.

the vet called and asked me to bring her in. she is a chicken lover too i guess because she is treating her free of charge. she said she will take her home and tube feed her for a couple days if she sees any hope in doing so. she will keep me informed and i will do the same here.

i just fed her again and after i put her down she did a big wing/leg stretch. that stuff is so cute. things are improving. the vibes are working, keep em coming.

lol nevermind. upon further inspection i found it was just a small piece of pine chip embedded in her down. disregard the belly button question.

still constant crying and trying to get under her buddy. the temp is 90˚. something i noticed though. she has a belly button. do they all have them? makes me further more think she may just be a runt.
