Ohh, that’s a great idea with the cat litter, I have got to say I hate dusty wood shavings but I don’t really have much of a choice for my big birds. We have cats too and we have use wooden cat litter before so I know how big it can be, don’t know why I didn’t think of it. Thank you!
I’ve tried the video im trying to send just has that faint look that shows you you can’t send it! Can’t work it out. The chick is also making a crackling sound when breathing but it’s mum does that too a little bit.
Also was thinking about source that said to do a crop wash didn’t even say about it can get in their lungs, they really should’ve said. Next time I will do more research.
oopsies! I read somewhere to do that! How do I know if it’s gone into its lungs? It was impacted so I gave it some oil and massaged its crop then it turned into a balloon! It’s chirping pitifully, I feel so bad!
