Chick has sour crop, and making funny head movement. help!

I have a lone chick I bred from my flock.
I had brought 6x crested cream legbar eggs hoping to get some hens but none hatched sadly. As I have a 7 egg incubator I always put one of ours in to try and lower the risk of getting one chick. But sadly this egg was the only on that hatched. It is a week old frizzle male. A gold-laced polish frizzle bantam with a Crested cream legbar roo! Yesterday I knew something was wrong, then I realized the chick was shaking its head after drinking. I felt it’s crop it was one huge hard ball, I gave it olive oil and massaged it them in turned into a balloon. I have removed food and water and I did do a bit of a crop wash but I didn’t do it completely didn’t want to kill the chick. I hated doing in. It has been eating chick crumb but could have eaten wood shavings to block it. There is grit in the crumb. This morning the crop is still not completely empty. I will add Apple cider Vinegar to water later. Should I completely empty the crop with a crop wash first?
P.S It will be dinner some day!

UPDATE: Gave ACV chick was making funny head movements (jerking it upwards ) and closing its eyes. looked like it was about to either die or throw up. And brought up salivary stuff when I massaged his crop.

What exactly do you mean by "crop wash"? It's generally not recommended to make chickens vomit due to the risk of them aspirating (getting it in their lungs). Also are you sure it's sour crop? A "huge hard ball" sounds like it could be impacted. There's a good article here on the difference and how to treat them.

oopsies! I read somewhere to do that! How do I know if it’s gone into its lungs? It was impacted so I gave it some oil and massaged its crop then it turned into a balloon! It’s chirping pitifully, I feel so bad!

Also was thinking about source that said to do a crop wash didn’t even say about it can get in their lungs, they really should’ve said. Next time I will do more research.

I’ve tried the video im trying to send just has that faint look that shows you you can’t send it! Can’t work it out. The chick is also making a crackling sound when breathing but it’s mum does that too a little bit.

Did you upload it to the gallery first?

First you need to click the menu button at he top left of your screen. If you're on the desktop rather than mobile version it might be different, I can do screenshots for that if needed.

Then click "gallery" and "add media"

Then it will ask where you want to upload it to. I set up my own album to add any random stuff to, rather than worry about where else it should go. Not saying that's the only way to do it.

Then go through the steps to upload and save it. You'll get a notification when the video has been processed.

Then to add the video to a post, click here:

And a box should pop up to let you select your video

Or, like I say, you can upload to another site like youtube instead

It’s a problem my end! I shows up the video faintly to show I can’t click on it! Ughh this is so annoying, don’t really want to upload onto YouTube!
