Hi everyone. It's been a long time since I dropped in here. :frow
Well it seems spring is just on the doorstep. The cherry tree in the courtyard is abloom again. I never seem to notice it until it's in full swing. Miss it every year!
Happy Aussie day to you too!
Sorry it's a bit late. :P
It was my first real day after having spent about 24 hours on a plane. I did nothing in particular. What about you?
Returning for good... at least for the next year until I finish school. I have no concrete plans for the future. I'm thinking I might return to England seeing as that's where I'm from.
We didn't have a white chrissy... the weather chose the 25th to suddenly rise to ten degrees and inspire the...
I'm actually overseas right now, but I hear it's pretty ... summery. Our oldest chicken has died. She was already much older than any of the others lived to, she was a tough old bugger. :P
Slightly looking forward to returning in about a week. It's snowing outside right now. I am having trouble...
It's hard to imagine 45 degree heat where I am now, but I'm thinking of everyone affected by the bushfires. I saw them on the news.
Our oldest hen has recently died, I am informed.
Tough old bugger, may she rest in peace. :P
Oh no, that's no good. Sorry to hear that. :hugs Fast healing! :)
I reckon I spent the next four days in bed afterwards though, isn't it always like that with fun things...
Hey Christie :frow
Been a while since I've checked in here too.
Hope everyone had a great new year. I'm in Germany right now, and that was the best new year I've ever had...
Hey guys! :frow
I'm kinda in Rachel's boat too, disappeared for an extraordinaire amount of time. :lau
I have turned into - surprise - a diligent student. I don't even know what started it. It's totally contrary to my personality. :P I started on my TOK presentation while everyone else was...
Awesome! Great news about the eggs! Frequently we'll find our chickens' eggs smeared with mud too, don't know how they do it, their nest is in the innermost corner of the coop.
I remember the kayak one. Google maps always thinks I am talking about Melrose Park in the US. Hehe.
Sorry to...
Okey dokey *traipses over*
(I think it must've been a molt. These chickens have turned out somewhat better than the last couple, who dropped out on us after two years.)
:yuckyuck
That's hilarious.
And you're right, I haven't heard of Ironbank. Then I don't suppose many people have heard of the town named Sydney, which is in Canada, either. :P
Dang I live in Melrose Park and hardly anybody knows what I'm talking about until I say "opposite from Edwardstown"...
