Another thing I like about burning wood ....if it gets too hot then I can open a window or door and not worry about $ going out the door.

rufus, do you live near the equator? We turn the a/c on only when we have to during the hottest part of the summer. Where we live there is a breeze most of the time during the warm months. I hate having our house shut up.
