Yeah, it can be just a 'shelter' rather than a 'coop.' As long as they are cold-hardy species, just having a place to get in out of wind/rain/snow if they want to is sufficient. All my goofy ones will stay out in the pen instead of going in their house though, even though they have one.

I'm about done with my pens....about all that's left is putting a row of chickenwire around the bottom perimeter.

Working on getting the frame up for my pens.... The pics are not too great, it was getting dark, but here's a few more work in progress shots anyways.....

Here's a bit of my work in progress..... Here's their shelter..... It's divided into two sections, one for the silvers and one for the melanistics. Just got started setting a few posts for the pens.

Still building mine....maybe I can get some pics of a completed product before too long......
