Congrats on the new job Rancher! Great feeling to start something new! Good luck on the new endeavor! 2 questions...when can I give my chicks my fat meal worms and is there a way to stop chicks from bullying each other without separating them? I only have one brooder...I could do another...

We have the beetles in a separate container, and the in between meal worms and beetles in another serrate container.

Yup, we have put all sorts of fruit and veggies in there and they love it! Our meal worms are huge! and we have some that are now beetles...that my daughter is hoping to get new mealworms from.

Here are some of my babies...they came from happyhensny, her hens and roos make beautiful babies!!

Morning all! An update on my first hatch I have 7 chicks in the brooder, 1 still in the bator. I had 1 chick die after pipping. I have two that pipped yesterday morning, who I have assisted but are stuggling, I don't expect them to make it. I have two more eggs that have internally pipped...

I am, I have three out now, another is assisted and resting til he breaks out of his inner membrane, and 4 pips...2 pips should start zipping soon...

Yup, that's #13! He was my 1st pip at 10am this morning...he/she sure is stubborn though. I had to reopen the membrane so he/she didn't suffocate!!

Well...not sure I will hear it...the bator is in the bathroom...if I do crash, it'll be on the couch...I figure I'll just do homework all night.
