Where do you go for your chickens? Not that I need any right now... (actually I do need a couple of JGs...)
I found her on craigslist. If you type in chickens, she's in Monroe selling golden comets. Very nice with a lovely and clean chicken set- up on her farm. Organized by age and...
Just called the farmer, and she said she'd happily trade him out. I can't believe hoe the most obvious things get past me: IT'S A SEX-LINK CHICKEN ergo, color coded for this! And I knew that!!! I'll be shaking my head over this one for awhile...

We live 25 min from downtown Detroit. We make a point to drive in to town often- to eat, go to a market, go to a bookstore- anything. When we spend time there, it doesn't feel empty or sad. We feel like we went somewhere important.

Just read your rebuilding thread and it has inspired me to keep waiting until my girls meet each other. Got 3 pullets 10 days ago and have kept them quarantined, but am anxious to add them to the bigger coop area. You just lent me some more patience
Hi neighbors! Peeled out of school today to meet a chicken lady in Monroe. She had a lovely homestead with sheep & lots of chickens. A very nice lg coop set up. Picked up 3 9wk old golden comets. So happy to add to my 2 ISAs (after quarantine of course). They are so sweet. You're the only...
