I am so very tempted to pick up and move out of state, wish there was a perfect place to go, not too hot, not too cold, low humidity, not a lot of bugs, snakes, spiders, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes or earthquakes!! Hmmm, thats not asking too much is it????

That's kind of what the forecast says, but I am with you- winter is winter. I really don't mind it during the winter months, especially if we have plenty of snow to keep hubby happy on his snowmobile, but when it's April or so I am ready for spring and I bet the chickens will be too...
Oh bummer! We were hoping, since that was originally the MBGBA swap meet day, that people would still have it open. In case anyone hasn't heard, the Hudsonville swap was canceled due to some kind of outbreak in the area.

ARGH! I lost everything I typed a minute ago for you. Hate it when that happens!#(*$&@($&
Anyway, out of the goslings I got from you last year I was pretty sure I had two males and one female. Last weekend we gutted and cleaned all the hen houses and nests. I had found a nest of 6...

Sometimes a little TOO MUCH! My cat has been smothering me with attention all week... I blame Vicki, she's the one who gave her to my daughter.
