Toss it?!?!?

That's sacrilege. Eat it!

The only time you need to toss eggs is if you've recently used a medication that requires a withdrawal period.

Also, your inbox is full.

Let me know when you get it cleaned out and I'll PM you my number.

Thanks!

Fuzzy is a Red Silkie and Florine, Phyllis, & MB2 are Barred Rocks. Sadly my second Silkie (a black) didn't make the trip....

MB2 is in memory of "Miss Barb", she passed away a few weeks ago.....

Opps, I think you meant me, that's ok, I understand it takes a bit to get used to things here

I have delawares and welsummers right now that I am planning on breeding in the spring, well whenever I get a broody hen that is. And I also plan on starting some Black Australorps as DH has expressed a desire to get a BA roo. I would love to have a NN hen just because I like the unusual and unique, that is after all why I married DH

Laughing Duck! Check out the link in my siggy for the upcoming Chickenstock.

michickenwrangler, I no longer get summons. For a while there it seemed like I was getting them every year while DH never got them. The last time I had to fill out the paperwork was shortly after my back surgery and I stated that I could not sit for long periods of time and gave them my Dr's info. I haven't gotten a summons since.

Hey everyone!!!

First of all,
welcome-byc.gif
to the many newbies here!!

Well, had my surgery check up visit today and things seem to be going better than the doc thought, especially since the surgery was quite dangerous and extensive. Glad she thinks so because I still feel quite rough. Did manage to get out a little today to do some errands. I'll be feeling it the rest of the night though!!

Hey, we went to the grainery in Mason and they're doing some great deals with a place called Townline Hatchery in Zeeland. Anyone familiar with it? They're shipping rates seem quite reasonable compared to anyone else I've seen. Only worry I have is getting more roosters. We probably have about 11 now. Ugh. So far the troublesome brothers are in with the ducks and not so happy.

I'd really, REALLY love to get my hands on some of those O-Shamo birds, they are awesome! Are they good layers at all?

So right now we are in the market for hens of any breed, female ducks of any breed, mostly concerned with Calls but will consider anything else but Pekin and (gulp) guineas. I want a pot belly pig or small goat so I had to agree to those noisy things lol

I have a feeling by the end of summer our place will really look like my sister's ranch lol

I've missed you all, hope everyone is doing great!

Hey Keyt, I am glad you are doing beter. I know it takes a while so don't rush things. I have gotten chicks and ducklings from Townline years ago when the boys were into 4-H. The local Family Farm and Home orders their chicks from there too. So some of my girls that I have now are from there. FF&H even special ordered the gold laced wyandotts that DH wanted last year.
