18 weeks old ... their combs/waddles are red during the day --- but later in the afternoon/early evening they go back to being pink no squatting or practicing the egg song yet- shaggy

i think that is supposed to be a sign of getting ready to lay but they don't seem to have the big combs/waddles that other peoples buff orpingtons have they found got a lot of worms and beetles from my wife's jasmine vines- shaggy
