There's only one more egg that has a chance to hatch. The others died earlier on. The only other ones that'll hatch will be the ones that are due next Friday.

Yes I have...the other one is doing perfectly. The second one hatched without entirely absorbing his yolk sac which is not a very good sign. He hasn't dried off since yesterday and has not taken a normal step. His toes were perfectly spaced when he hatched, but now they are "shriveled" and...

Well, I thought the second one was looking alright but after noticing how he wasn't walking around real well, I took at look at him. He seems to be dehydrated, but won't drink. He hasn't dried off and keeps stumbling everywhere. I don't think this one will be long for the world.

They both survived the night! I was sure the one that had a bit of the yolk sac left out would have died, but they both are running around and jumping all over each other. So freakin' cute!

Just the two...moved them into the brooder. They've all been in the same spot so should be happening soon. I wanted to stop having to open the bator so I went ahead and moved them. I'm using an orange juice cap to hold water so that they won't drown. How do I tell if they're goldens or browns?

I have two babies in the brooder RIGHT now! they are so CUTE! Is it normal for them to roll on their back and not be able to get back up?

I saw pips and heard CHIRPING!!!! Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have babies! How soon after they hatch do they need food and water? I know they need it sooner than chickens.
