The various varieties in the Wyandotte, Plymouth Rock and others were attained by a different direction. But all came to the same body type. The buff Chantecler has the same formula as the White Chantecler. What the Standards Committee was looking at was the same body type etc.

Possibly some from us. We shipped some White Chantecler eggs to Missouri this year. It was to an individual. Most likely they have a breeder that will be selling them eggs to hatch.

Up close photos are best. We try to take photos of birds with a child holding them or in a dog crate like this Black Orpington cockerel of ours.

I love it when a juvenile crows. It even scares themselves! We have had them crow at a young age and some not start till fully mature. Some just like hearing themsleves crow.
Our White Chanteclers have slowed laying. Guess its the heat, cause our Orpingtons have also slowed laying.
