    I love it when a juvenile crows. It even scares themselves! We have had them crow at a young age and some not start till fully mature. Some just like hearing themsleves crow.

    Our White Chanteclers have slowed laying. Guess its the heat, cause our Orpingtons have also slowed laying. Southeast Arkansas can be a bummer in the summer!

    Just heard they were not top Standard quality. But you must start somewhere. The more varieties/breeds one has the less time you have with each.

    Have heard that Sandhill's quality is not the greatest, but it is a start. You should consider joining the http://www.chanteclerfanciersinternational.org and seeing if any of their members has better quality stock.
