    So excited here as we got our first egg from the pullet pen and it was a brown Chantecler egg..i really like these birds they are very docile in comparison to the Ameraucanas. Now i have to pick out the best rooster out of the group of 7 before they head off to freezer camp.

    Thanks for the info...we will work on our flock to produce some 4H birds next year...looks like they need to be about 16 weeks min in age....we really like their dispositions very friendly so now i just need to figure out which rooster would be the best one to keep for breeding...
